[DM-MUG] uploading an image to ebay

Here is something I do often enough that it annoys me that it's not
exceedingly simple. I'm using ebay as an example but I do this on
numerous different websites.

1. Take a picture with a digital camera
2. Attach camera to pc, iphoto launches and imports picture
3. Open ebay, start the process to list an item for sale
4. Attach an image by hitting the browse button
5. Where on earth is my picture? I click on Pictures -> iPhoto library
but is not a folder, you can't just open it and browse pictures

To solve this I open iPhoto, drag the picture out of iPhoto onto my
desktop, then upload from there.

Is there another way to do things?
