[DM-MUG] problems with MacBook Pro [small one] in Chile

That might be the hard drive beeping at her, indicating a pending  
failure. She should check for Software Updates (there might be a  
firmware update for the drive), and/or get it to a tech immediately.

I realize rural Chile is quite a distance from Cupertino, but there  
must be something within at least a reasonable distance?
