Mac OS install disks have most of the utilities you would need.
Restart your mac with the disk in the drive and hold down options, you
can choose the system install disk. Once it starts dont select
install but you can go to the disk utility. If you dont have the
install disk. Try applejack http://applejack.sourceforge.net/
It is an expanded version of the fsck utility of the unix core. It is
a little more technical. Hope it helps. Regards C
