I've been using ReciPants installed on a Linux server at home. It
isn't fancy (no fonts or clipart), but it works well and it does have
categories and search capabilities.
The project isn't being actively updated, but the latest version works
fine for us. Oh, and it is FOSS.
We also use AllRecipes.com quite a bit.
