Sort of, it uses wifi signals to extrapolate its position within 50
feet or something like that. I mean google maps works well enough but
its no GPS replacement, especially when your not near a wifi signal.
Then its lost. My daughter and wife both have one and love them, they
are more mobile computer than ipod. And no monthly charge. Regards Chris
