[DM-MUG] Addressbook on iMac running 10.5.6 won't open up

I have a new iMac & have been moving contents of old over to it...in 
the meantime, I have updated all the software and tried to open up 
AddressBook and it won't load.

I repaired permissions, restarted, still no go.  I used the new iMac 
disks and reinstalled AddressBook from them, restarted, still no go. 
I have deleted all AB plists and still no go.

Any ideas or should I jsut do an archive and install system software in full???
