The GUID idea was a good suggestion...I did a Disk Utility review of
all drives on the computer...each one in Bays 1, 3, 4 were as
expected and had GUID noted in the info area == for some reason Bay
2, the Hitachi TB drive, showed up as NOT formatted [why I don't
know] - the 'old' Aperture from Bay 2 I placed in the Wiebetech
external enclosure showed up just fine = and it is GUID also - so I
finally decided to go ahead and do an initialization [a
reinitialization?] of the Hitachi 1TB and it showed up then as GUID
and I'm now copying over to it the 'master' Aperture library...maybe
I thought I erased it but didn't? Don't know why because I saw it
and the other on the desktop...but in any event, seems to be working
now.
Much thanks for all the tutelege.
