[DM-MUG] Upgrading from 10.4 Tiger to 10.5 Leopard best practices

My sister has a MBPro and is thinking of upgrading to Leopard. She
is really not into techie things [smart enough but maybe not patient
enough] but thinks she can do it herself. I told her I would send
her a sort of 'best practices' summary and want to confirm my
understanding is correct: (1) backup [I downloaded SuperDuper so she
can do that - the harddrive she has is a 1T so I might have her
partition it and do a double clone just in case...(2) repair
permissions...(3) restart...(4) archive and install [i.e., which
option would be best?] then to bring it up to date = repair
permissions again, run Software update [or get Combo download?]..

anything I'm forgetting...? She could take it to a Genius Bar but if
handled right I think she can do it herself and that might also help
her to understand how easy, really, it is...

I think she has Entourage on her MBP but assume the OS upgrade won't
affect things - or should I get a System Profile Report and review
the apps etc. she has??? Thanks so much.
