[DM-MUG] Airport puzzle

I've read that there can be a few issues with iBook G4's and wireless
networks - namely Airport Extremes/Time Capsules - depending on a
couple of things. The first thing I would check, though, is the
Airport Extreme's radio mode. To do this, open the Airport Utility on
one of the computers that can see the station, select the Airport
Extreme, and click the Manual Setup button. Under the Airport tab, in
the Wireless section, there is a select menu for Radio Mode. Make sure
that this is set to "802.11n (b/g compatible)." If it wasn't set to
that before, set it there now. If it was, then I would suggest
disabling the Extreme's 802.11n support for the moment. To do this,
hold down the Option-key as you open that same select menu. A bunch
of additional modes will appear below the original four. Select, for
the moment, "802.11b only." Save the changes, wait for the station to
restart, and check to see if the iBook can see it now. If you just
set the station to "802.11b only," and the iBook sees it now, you
might now be able to reset the station to "802.11n (b/g compatible)"
mode. I've read that sometimes just temporarily switching the radio
mode can convince the computer to find the station.
