[DM-MUG] Time Capsule

Thanks Jeremy.

The iBook has been using the wireless connection to my external hard
drive for a long time. We have had occasional failures on a particular
backup but then they are fine. Now I have discovered that it hasn't
been working for a while. I am aware that Apple doesn't support this
configuration so help from Apple Care is out. CW Smith(used to be at
Haddock) has a setup which works with Time Machine on several
networked computers. The key is using a later Airport than what I have
which means buying a new wireless. I also need a new HD so most of the
cost of Time Capsule will be with I could spend with another
configurations. There are a couple of other factors involved which
lead me to consider Time Capsule as a solution.

When I tell Time Machine to go to the backup it does so but the site
has no backups --the drive also is empty when viewed in Finder. When I
use your command in Terminal it doesn't show anything so I assume that
all network drives are supported. I'm going to play with this a
little on this cold day when I shouldn't leave the house.
