[DM-MUG] First Time Attendee... I'll Be Back!!

Last night was my first time attending a DMMUG meeting (great
presentation!!) and enjoyed being in the company of kindred spirits.
There's something about the Mac mindset that separates the wheat from
the chaff. I started using the Mac in 1984 and have done lots of
things with it. However when I started my bakery business in 1999 (I'm
hearing a Prince tune in my mind) -- the bakery pricing software was
in the Windows world -- so I went to what I call "The Dark Side" and
purchased a Gateway computer as emulation software at that time was
slowwwwww and erratic... and I just didn't have the time to fuss with
it. I had bread to bake!! Right Ann??

I just recently purchased my iMac and am like a pig in slop. I do run
VMWARE Fusion on my iMac... but when it's up and running it's called
"Mauri's Dark Side Machine." I realize that computers are "tools" and
there's a reason for different types of tools -- but the Mac OS system
and software truly surpasses the other worlds. Of course I'm preaching
to the choir here.

Now that I've found the Impromptu Studios building... I'm planning on
making it to the monthly meetings for sure.

I parked in the Doors lot at 7th and Elm... is there any space/place
closer?

What are the AT&T costs for the iPod? My Sprint contract will be
running out in the fall... and I'm seriously looking at the iPod for
several reasons -- personal and business.
