James,
Just daisy chain them computer to drive to drive. I never had a
problem with that.
Your drives may come with a free backup program--Silver Keeper with
LaCie drives.
For straight backup it is reasonably good. A better option would be
Carbon Copy Cloner so that you have a bootable backup. It is donation
ware . My favorite is SuperDuper from ShirtPocket. Cost is 27.95 at <www.shirt-pocket.com/
