[DM-MUG] The NAT Issue...

Once you get into the Port Mapping section of the AirPort Utility, you
will need to click the + at the bottom of the list to add a new
service. In the window that opens, you need to enter the following
information:

Public TCP Port(s): 8000
Private IP Address: 10.0.1.2
Private TCP Port(s): 8000

Once you've entered this information, click Continue. In the next
screen, enter something like "Nicecast" to describe it so you will
know what you're dealing with down the road. I would recommend making
sure that the "Advertise globally using Bonjour" box is NOT checked.
The click "Done." The list in the main window will now include your
Nicecast item. Make sure it is checked and click "Update." Your
AirPort will restart, and you should be good to go.

Please note that you will want to make sure that the computer that
you're using is NOT using DHCP to automatically obtain an IP address.
If it is, it could change addresses periodically, and another machine
could assume the old address, in which case the route you just created
would point to the new computer. At best, the new computer would not
know what to do with the request. At worst, it could be a gaping
security hole.
