I'm sure you and Dave are right, but I use my computer virtually 18 
hours a day on Mediacom and have had very few - no- server 
issues...It's usually a weather problem.  Maybe the server is the 
assigned to your locale [since I'm in DM maybe that's it...] so it 
may depend on where the person is connecting from and to.
