[DM-MUG] DNS settings and youtube stutter

Hello All
A while back I changed the DNS settings on my router due to security  
concerns. My wife has an older g3 ibook and since I did this youtube  
is virtually unwatchable. I've adjusted the buffer settings and  
increased the cache size. I'm not sure if the DNS setting have  
anything to do with it. Does anyone else have any experience with this  
problem?  We have the 7mb DSL and other downloads are fast. Thanks
