[DM-MUG] 10.5 update locked disk

Hello All
I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this. I've upgraded my mirror  
drive G4 to 10.5.4 with no problems. It recently did an online update  
and seemed to lock all of the non system hard disks. The machine will  
no longer boot and I have tried using the install disk utilities. I  
was going to re-install 10.5.4 on a different disk and it wont let me  
because of the locked disk. The system disk is not locked. I have  
been looking on apple for the terminal instructions to unlock the  
disks as that seems to be the only thing I havent tried. I did disk  
util and the permissions to the system disk were really messed up.
