Okay, I need to explain something.  I know about Hamrick's VueScan, 
and have for years and years, and it's a great bit of software but 
again, why get software if I don't have to?  I have a ScanSnap from 
Fujitsu which works great with its own software but it's not the 
mobile kind.

I have been given this Pentax mobile scanner as a gift.  I can return 
it.  I can return it and get a mobile ScanSnap and be a happy camper 
== the Q is whether I am missing somethign when I read what Pentax 
says on its site ref. needing to have software that can work with the 
scans etc....I do not choose to get VueScan as a driver == Pentax has 
its own driver but it's talking on the website as if it is not all 
that is needed to run the thing == and I'm not willing to test it and 
make it impossible to return...

I'll just return it and use the credit for the Fujitsu, as I know 
what it can do.  Thanks.
