[DM-MUG] very cheap laptop options

One of my great passions is long distance motorcycling.   One of my  
great frustrations is not taking my Nikon D70s with me (worrying  
about road dust and jarring) and not having emails or internet  
access.  When I first saw the initial post this AM was what a perfect  
solution to my "minor issues".  The new iPhone might be a possible  
solution but until ATT gets it's act together in an affordable  
manner,  I'll wait.  This might be an option for the short term,  
disposable.  Thoughts?
