[DM-MUG] very cheap laptop options

The problem with iBooks of that vintage is that they were under a logic
board recall, and CW, you can clarify this, but I do not think the recall is
in effect any longer. So while it is cheap, it is possible that it would not
last very long. When I worked at Haddock, we had replacement logic boards
die again within 6 months many times. The cost now would probably be about
$275 for a depot repair. When you tack that on, it's not really worth it. If
you can find the very last iBooks(late 2005), the 1.33/1.42 12"/14", that
might be a better bet.
