I just returned from out of town with my MacBookAir = which is a 
great machine.  One problem tho is that some hotels are still not in 
the wifi age.  The one I stayed in, unless we worked out a club 
membership, only had ethernet which wouldn't work with the Air.  But 
I got a $24 tiny ethernet to usb connector and was online immediately.

I also was able to pick up a multi-USB port extender so I could use 
that AND something else on the Air == but my warning ref the Air is 
to be prepared in case only ethernet is available.  But it's 
definitely the one I want to travel with = it weighs less than my 
camera and it fits in my purse.
