I have itunes on my MacPro running and you can go into your AppleTV
and either download stuff to the ATV or look for it in the shared
library [on the MP] - last night we watched some [free] podcasts
[those from Ted.com are pretty neat = finding video podcasts is what
I strive for] and you're right, the resolution isn't very good. I
haven't yet downloaded movie/tvshow etc. to the ATV but will see how
that goes = I would think that would be better than downloading via
iTunes and then showing via ATV....when time permits, I'll see what
happens and let you know. For now it's adequate for what I need/want.

And there is a new Apple Remote application for the iPhone that will
run iTunes and ATV...will try that out, too. [I just paired it with
the iTunes on my MP and it works great = and shows album art too] -
I'm sure there is a batter hit tho.
