It is often caused by an off-balance CD (the actual disk) - common on
cheap software.

If it only happens on one or two disks, just ignore it. If it happens
on all disks then you may need a replacement drive. (imho)

If it really bothers you check to see if your cd drive operates at a
lower speed. I remember seeing  a setting for this on older Windows
machines, but haven't looked nor seen it on any modern computer.
