[DM-MUG] Anyone been by the Apple or AT&T stores yet today?

I'd say there are about 150 people or so in line at Apple WDSM store. Saw some kid who said he got in line at 3:45 a.m.

Tuaw.com is reporting activation servers used by store personnel went down earlier this morning.  

Apple store employees are really great - they're handing out water bottles, juice, muffins, etc and letting us play with the store's phones whilst we wait. I'm about 20 back from the door.  

Now if only ATT actually had 3G somewhere in IOwa.

I'm hoping to get an iPhone later today. I still had a year on my  
contract last year, so waited 'till the 3G was shipping. Wondering if  
anyone stood in line or dropped by earlier today. I can't get out of  
work today, and probably won't be able to go in until this evening.  
Think the stocks will hold up?

THink I'll probably need to go to the AT&T store though, since we'll  
be shuffling around plans, and getting my wife a new phone as well.  
Already an AT&T customer.

I poked around on the store last night and pulled down some of the  
free apps in prep.

So, any news from the field?
