It's also worth pointing out that even if you never ever forward or even
open those silly forwarded letters, you can be sure that another recipient
will, leaving your address there for the whole world to see.

Sadly, as soon as you provide your email address to anybody, you're a
potential recipient of this kind of garbage. Consider having a "public"
address and an inner circle address. Those with your inner circle address
know how to use it.
