Yes you can run it.  I was asking if the experience would be slow  
enough to be annoying.  10.5 likes more RAM than 10.4 or 10.3 (you get  
the idea).

The retail version of 10.5 (i.e. not an install DVD that can with a  
machine), will work/install on any machine that meets the minimum spec  
requirements.
