[DM-MUG] Contents of harddrive not showing up

I have an older harddrive, 20G, that shows up on the desktop, get
info says it has 19G and 11 is used and 8G is left. I ran disk
warrior and cleaned up the directory but nothing shows up. I did a
WhatSize which, apparently, even shows hidden files, but only 4kb on
the drive shows up [hidden trash files etc] - the Diskwarrior graph
after the rebuilding shows a heavy dark stripe on the L side and to
the 2/3rds point on the R.

Is there a utility to see what is there == I tried CDFinder and Tidy
Up and neither show anything =

Any way to know what is on it and capture it??? If I click and drag
will contents go to my computer even if I can't see them??? Thanks.
