a sibling just bought a new hp laptop with vista and a top-of-the-line  
canon film scanner.
ooops. according to some, a vista driver for the device could be a  
year off...
hope someone picks up your printer.
you'll have to add a warning to apple discussion boards where printers  
are mentioned.
