[DM-MUG] The Apple Store

I just wanted it then. I guess I need patience. When I was at Haddock, we
had different configs in stock, when we had stock. The sales guy tried to
imply that putting in the memory myself would void the warranty. At that
point I was pretty much done. At this point, may be I will get the Linux
laptop. Hardware is all the same today anyway, and while the Mac OS is still
the best, I am finding I don't care nearly as much as I used to and Linux is
nearly up there with Windows, and it's not Windows. If the "Apple
Experience" is what they are trying to sell, they lost me. I hate crowds and
the mall, and when I buy something, generally I know what I want and like to
get it and get out. I guess I am not the "typical" Apple customer. Whatever
system they use to drive revenue, obviously it's inflexible, and can't
appeal to everyone. Oh well.
