he was using it to take a picture - don't know about other use.  I do 
know that having looked at pics of the fake Chinese mock iPhones, it 
was not one of those = it was a real one, but I don't know more than 
that I saw him use it and snapped a shot.

I did turn off airplane mode of my iPhone for a few minutes to test 
out the billing issue etc. [had it running on WiFi and wanted to see 
if it honed in on a cell carrier - it did hone in on China Mobile] - 
will report back when I see what happened.  I didn't use it 
otherwise, but it has my contacts, calendar on it and also Password 
[both Password Wallet and 1Password now are integrated with iPhone, 
which is great]
