[DM-MUG] Leopard and "ignore permissions on this volume"

Since the Leopard upgrade, my external firewire drives don't remember
their ignore permissions settings. With each reboot, they revert to
their pre-leopard settings.

Anybody else experiencing this?

What's also strange is that I can see that my login account is a read/
write user on that drive, and I can use the Finder to copy content to
it, but when I'm using an iTunes library stored on it, the permissions
are ignored and I get "do not have authorized access" errors. These
errors occur when trying to purchase from the iTMS or dragging and
dropping media files into the itunes library. When I set the drive up
to have permissions ignored though, everything works fine.

I've checked the file access permissions of the itunes folder and its
files inside (.xml files for example) and I'm in there as a read/write
user. So I'm still stumped.
