[DM-MUG] any trackball using members?

My desk space is running out and I'm considering getting a trackball  
mouse. I've seen two versions, one for the thumb (logitech something)  
and another full palm ball model (Kensington Expert). Anybody use  
either of those designs and have anecdotes about what they're like  
for quick clicks, and jumping spans like from menu to dock? How about  
FPS gaming?
