[DM-MUG] Casing coming apart at front corner

It's quite possible that there is a loose or missing screw. Check
that first. A screwdriver set and a screw is a fairly cheap solution.
Gently duct taping may make the problem worse. Red Green says "Spare
the duct tape, spoil the job". In this case, that is correct. A poor
duct tape job might leave the case loose, or even cause a board to
short on the case. If you use duct tape, duct tape it thoroughly,
being careful to not block any vents. Note that covering too much of
the laptop may also hurt heat dissipation as well. Of course, since
there is some risk involved in any improvised solution, this advice
comes with no warranties.
