Ray,

I've had to troubleshoot this problem for many people. Go through all the printer maintence and
diagnostic tests as Matthew advised before you get into uninstalling/reinstalling drivers and
firmware and such as Epson wanted you to do. Keep in mind ink does dry up and has an expiration
date. Turn your printer off if going longer than 3 days without using it. Worst case scenario: the
printer head needs replaced.

Refill cartridges are not recommended unless you're doing office quality printing. Some places
have recycle programs and incentives.

Just curious, how do you like the Printable CD/DVD feature? In my experience with the Epsons, they
force end users to have all catridges, otherwise it won't allow you to print. I've always wondered
if that is common among all the brands to force consumers to buy more ink or if it is just an
Epson brand thing? Anyone know?

BTW Purple has replaced blue as my favorite color. heh heh. Hope everyone had a dandy holiday.
