[DM-MUG] Recalling old files

With much trepidation (and help from Apple...even with Take Control, I could
not have done this by myself) I was finally was able to do an erase and
install, and after a terrifying first encounter with what was available on
Time Machine (it looked like I had lost all my data) I called Apple and they
told me how to access Time machine through the hard drive, rather than
directly from the icon which only shows from the time of reinstall.

After the erase and install, everything works better although it still runs
hotter.

The question now is, does anyone know how I can retrieve my old email files.
Even when I go back and do a retrieve the way Apple told me, when I click on
Entourage in Time Machine, it shifts to the "new" page--clean, no records,
no addresses.
