[DM-MUG] second publish attempt worked in iPhoto - iMovie,
not so much

My second attempt at publishing a gallery from iPhoto worked. What
seemed to be missing was a meta tag of some kind during the first
attempt, or a server side reaction to translate the iPhoto provided url:
http://gallery.mac.com/myusername/123456
into
http://gallery.mac.com/myusername#123456
The last slash is converted to a # character automatically by .Mac
when trying to load gallery content from a url provided by an iLife app.
I published a movie from iMovie and it went up great the first time.
But when I edited the movie and clicked on the menu item "Republish"
to replace the previous edit (I assume), it created a second movie
item in my Gallery's root browsing point for it, and left the
previous one as a distinct separate entry featuring a broken image
indicator, and a messed up url like http://gallery.mac.com/
myusername#http://gallery.mac.com/myusername#123456 .
So I went back to iMovie and chose Share->Remove from .Mac, to remove
that project from the gallery. Instead, it turned the previously
functional movie link into a twin of it's other messed up sibling.
I'm going to figure out how to redo the gallery from scratch now
using iDisk.
(5 min later)
I couldn't find the gallery page nor the movie content anywhere in my
iDisk. So I told iMovie to publish the movie as if it was the first
time, and it discareded the broken orphans and set things right with
on single properly created movie link.
Seems a little buggy. :)
