[DM-MUG] Making extra SATA bootable

I ended up using Disk Utility to erase then using my Tiger disk to 
reinstall and the Seagate now has Tiger on it and is 
bootable...SuperDuper does make a disk bootable but I wasn't trying 
to back up data, just make it a bootable disk.

Now the next Q is whether I can delete any stuff off the Seagate 
[such as all those iApps and other things I won't really need] -- how 
stripped down can I make it???  Safely???
