[DM-MUG] OS9 web browsers

Since the Macs4Good project spends a great deal of time
refurbishing older Macs to make them useful. I thought I
would chime in on my knowledge of using OS9 browsers on
today's internet.

Regarding OS9 web browsers. Most of the old web browsers for
OS9 have not been updated for quite some time so will not
handle web pages with new technology. I find two still worth
using:

1) A German upgrade of the Mozilla browser called
Mozilla131. It is still not current with all web pages but
is better then most older versions.

2) iCab still updates their browser for OS9 (cross your
figures). However Flash has not been updated for iCab. Also
be aware that iCab is not a free browser.

No browser for OS9 is current in every respect. However if
you keep both of these two browsers handy then you will have
a better experience using the web with OS9.
