You can use an analog to dv converter, as specified below.  However,  
a better way would be to use a standard Digital8 camera with a  
Firewire port.  That way you don't have any degradation due to analog  
wiring.

The best way would be to use a Digital8 deck, but that would cost a  
lot of money to buy or rent.
