[DM-MUG] iBook battery

  Hi,

My wife's iBook has been showing the battery at 99% most of the time 
with the power adapter green, then it will go to 100% then later back 
to 99%.  The iBook is 4 years old so  I was disturbed by this. So I 
followed Apple's instructions for resetting the Power Manager. This 
didn't change anything. This morning I had her disconnect the Power 
Adapter while she was using it. In about 30 mins. it had dropped to 
75%(not too bad). Then it went to sleep. Nothing would wake it up. 
When I reconnected the Power Adapter it woke up but the battery 
indicator was at 0% and took a while to start recharging. This looks 
to me like a new battery is needed. Am I correct about this or would 
other tests be indicated? Last I looked these cost $100 so I don't 
like to invest in one if that is not the problem.
