[DM-MUG] Moving to DSL or not, which speed is important?

I don't want to run anything at all!  I have two sites at netINS.net 
already.  I ONLY want the 'pipe' to the internet to be fast enough 
for me to get there.  What I don't like is having to pay for services 
I won't use [i.e., 8-20 email boxes, some web space etc.] -- I may be 
confused about things but thought I needed both the 'pipe' [whether 
cable or DSL] and an ISP, which came with it....to do that....I'm 
only concerned about a physical connection to the internet since I 
have plenty of email addresses and websites as it is [not even 
including the .Mac one]
