[DM-MUG] matte or glossy

I'm not fond of glare. I want a screen that feels a little porous and diffuses light that hits it instead of showing too clearly the source of the illumination (ie: seeing the grill of fluorescent lights shining down). Having enjoyed matte LCDs for many years, including an iBook G4 933mhz, I'm happy to stay with that kind of implementation.
