[DM-MUG] Cyberduck Q - how to download site for backup purposes

I looked and couldn't find it in Cyberduck forum area or elsewhere ==
my understanding of Synchronization is that I could use that feature
to copy a website from server to my hard disk...or do I want to do it
otherwise? I need to make a backup of all my site files before i do
some updates...is that how it is done?
