[DM-MUG] importing CDs using AAC or AppleLossless?

If you mean the CDs are MP3 CDs, then just drag the MP3 files on the CD
*into* iTunes. No ripping required. Converting to AAC would just lose you
quality, so don't do that. Using Apple Lossless is meaningless on an MP3
CD, since they are not CD-quality tunes...in fact, I doubt you'd even have
that as an option.

Choosing MP3/AAC/Apple Lossless only makes sense on a normal CD, not a MP3
CD (which is just a data CD with MP3 files on it.)

Subject: [DM-MUG] importing CDs using AAC or AppleLossless?

I just returned from outside the country with CDs with music and can

import them to iTunes but I think they're all recorded or some of

them in MP3 format...do I want to import using AAC or AppleLossless

== I'd only be playing them on iTunes or iPod or burning a CD and

space is not an issue, fortunately.
