Most of the major differences are all file security or networking related,
(Joining a domain, user security settings, remote desktop hosting, etc)
Some of differences out of the box, Home lacks Fax support or backup
software, but they are on the home cd and can be installed manually.
My overall advice would be to use Pro also, it has tighter security and
from experience just acts more stable. I don't have proof of this, but
really feal the MS made XPPro, then started commenting out a bunch of code
to give them Home. Probably like they will be doing for the free version
of "Vista".
