Hi guys. Long time no see. :)
I've got two fun things for sale. They were purchased with good
intentions of using them a lot, only they didn't. They're both in mint
condition:
Formac StudioTVR
Formac StudioTVR is a FireWire video/audio capture/encoding device for
playing and capturing signals from TV cable, TV antennae,
RCA/composite video cameras etc. on your Mac. Lets you watch TV on
your Mac in a window, or full screen, and lets you capture to your
hard disk, a la Tivo. Comes with a program scheduler and connects to
web resources to show you what's on and when. I used this to capture
footage from family video cameras of my wife and I's wedding, and made
an iMovie out of them. I plugged it in yesterday to make sure it still
works, and it's great. FW cable and software included. I paid more
than $300 Canadian for it 2 years ago, so $100 USD isn't unreasonable.
I noticed a couple sales of same-models on eBay go for $150+.

LaCie d2 DVD±RW with LightScribe 16x
LaCie d2 DVD±RW with LightScribe 16x Double Layer DVD Burner for
FireWire or USB 2. This thing is FAST. I used it for a couple months
last fall to enable DVD burning for my 933MHz iBook and it burned, and
read media faster than any other player I had ever seen. I really like
it and would certainly keep it if my new G5 tower didn't already have
its own burner. FW Cable and software included. Works with Wintels too
of course. I only paid $160 for it at CompUSA last October, and would
prefer receiving at least $90 for it.
