[DM-MUG] won't recognize blank CD

Substandard media due to bad run of discs or some other reason? If it  
happens on different machines, it's probably media. Did you buy DVD's  
instead of CD's (or are they mislabeled?) and run them on a CD-R  
drive? Your CDs & DVDs System Pref is set to what? Try changing the  
setting, closing the Prefs and setting it back. You've restarted?  
You've run permissions repair from Disk Utility?
