Hi!

I saw your post on the DM-MUG site today
(http://cialug.org/pipermail/dmmug/2004-January/000220.html).
I hope you don't mind me contacting you.

I am facing the 2gb limit problem in iMovie 4 and was
very excited to see your post. I tried exactly what
you said but when I launch the iMovie project, I got a
message saying that there were "stray files" in the
folder and asks if I want to 'leave the files alone'
or 'put them in the trash.'

I don't know what to do! As another attempt, I
upgraded to quicktime pro and tried splitting my 3GB
file in half. It did, in fact, split it in half but
the file size of each resulting file is still 3GB! So
now even though they are shorter in length, iMovie
still won't take them because they are too large.

I'm so lost and saddened that I can't move forward.
Do you have any words of advice for me?

Thanks so much for anything you can offer and also for
your time!

Tanveer
