Ha! Cable may be fast on the download, but it's positively pokey on the
upload. If you're initiating a 4-way (don't forget to count yourself),
Apple says you need 384 kbps up/dn. To participate, you're only
supposed to need a 100 kbps connection, but since when have specs ever
been true in reality?

Cable is notorious for inconsistent throughput. You may be at your
limit.
