Awesome! Thanks Donald.
What I need is something with enough ram to run a Linux distro with a KDE interface and Java 1.4.2.
CPU , at minimum a P-133mhz but 400mhz and up is better.
96 megs ram should be enough, although 128 is better.
The video card doesn't matter much, but an 8meg minimum of video ram would be preferable. Integrated chipset or separate pci/agp card, doesn't matter.
The monitor doesn't matter. 15" at least if possible, 17" is better, but 14" is fine too.
A 10 gig hard drive would be preferrable but 4 gigs and up is fine too.
It's gotta have a CDROM that is bootable so I can put Linux CDs into it. I don't need a floppy drive.
With ethernet card preferrable.
Let me know how you're poised with those kinds of requirements ok? And again thank you so very much for coming forward!
Darcy
