[DM-MUG] Options for least expensive G4 or G5??

My son was asking if we could get a Mac desktop to replace my 'old' 
Cube [we have a Cinema Display already, the white border not 
aluminum].  It's not on my present list, but as a family purchase it 
might be...Apple Store of certified refurbs doesn't have one.  It 
does appear that it's possible to find an 'older' G5 PowerMac for 
about $1,000 online.  Is there another option, locally.  We're in no 
rush.
